James Robertson MacHardy of West Hartford and Old Saybrook, beloved husband of Valerie B. MacHardy, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital, with his wife and family by his side. James was born in Hartford, CT, son of the late James and Alice (Nugent) MacHardy. He was a graduate of Providence College, continuing his studies at CCSU where he received a Masters Degree in Education.
