George A. Swift, 100, formerly of Swift Street in Branford, died Wednesday April 24, 2013 at St. Joseph's Living Center in Windham. He was the husband of the late Mary Reiner Swift. Mr. Swift was born in Branford August 19, 1912, son of the late George W. and Lillian Mathers Swift. He was a WWII veteran of the U. S. Army. He worked for many years as a mechanic for the Howard Company in West Haven, and after retiring from there he worked at the former First Federal Bank in Branford. He...
