Janet L. Eastwood, (Mrs. Burhans), died Thursday June 20, 2013 at her son Billy Burhans' home in Old Saybrook. She was born September 14, 1933 in New Haven, daughter of the late Theodore and Mary Louise Brandriff Eastwood. She worked for Yale University for many years, until retiring. A master gardener, she also worked as a floral designer for Long's Florist in East Haven. Janet was very artistic and was a classical pianist, including playing piano at the Short Beach Union Church. ...
