KNIFFIN, Alice G. In the early morning of May 10, 2013, Alice G. Kniffin passed quietly and peacefully. Born Aleksandra Gietek on July 17, 1931 in Poredy, Poland and growing up in Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Aleksander and Marianna Zubrowska Gietek. She will be remembered for her fierce independence, strong faith and love for her late husband, Lester C. Kniffin, Jr., her five children and ten grandchildren whom she was so incredibly proud of.
