Vera (Dudley) Givens, 78, of Hartford, died on Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Alexandria Manor in Bloomfield. She was born on September 26, 1934, in Monticello, Georgia, daughter of the late Rev. Joseph and Lizzie (Evans) Dudley. Vera grew up in Americus, Georgia and moved to Hartford in 1958. She worked for Alexandria Manor for 35 years, before her retirement.
