On Wednesday, March 13, 2013, the Lord decided to call home Herbert L. Hoffler. Herbert was the second son of Willie and Dolly (Hurdle) Hoffler, born in Gatesville, NC on March 12, 1925. He came to Waterbury, Connecticut at an early age and shortly thereafter met his wife, Anna (Grate) Hoffler. They began to build a life, remaining together for over sixty years, raising six children. He was a wonderful husband and provider, deeply dedicated to his family.
