Eleanor Banyas, age 93, of Fairfield, daughter of the late Susan (Kiss) and Nicholas Banyas, died on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013 in The Carolton Chronic Convalescent Hospital, Fairfield. Born in West Homestead, Pennsylvania, Eleanor was a lifelong Fairfield resident. She graduated from Bassick High School and went on to become a legal secretary in the Bridgeport area.
