John J. Howard, age 88, of Fairfield, passed away peacefully at home Friday, December 14, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. John was born in Bridgeport on April 17, 1924 and was a graduate of St. Augustine's Elementary School, Bassick High School, Niagara University and received his graduate degree from Fairfield University.
